Bring your own keys
Use your own model provider account. When a run uses your key, it spends only your account, and LumiWright shows the lane, billing mode and cost before it runs.
Two ways to connect a provider
Pay-as-you-go keys
Paste a key from your provider account. Metered usage is billed to that account.
Your existing plan
Some lanes use the sign-in of a subscription you already hold, such as Gemini or Codex. The lane shows ready once your sign-in is in place for your workspace.
Add an API key
- Open Account in the Hub and find Your provider keys.
- Choose the provider and paste your key.
- Select Save key. The key is stored for your workspace only and is never shown again.
Keys are available for Anthropic, Gemini, OpenAI (GPT), Codex, Pi, OpenHands and Dynamic Workflows.
Change or remove a key
Select Remove key, then save the new one. A second key for the same provider is refused until the first is removed, so nothing is replaced by accident.
Use a subscription sign-in
Subscription lanes for Gemini and Codex use your own cached sign-in for your workspace. We set it up with you during onboarding; after that the lane reads ready, and your subscription's own limits apply. The selected tool validates the sign-in each time you approve a run.
What you see before a run
Every lane shows its provider, its billing mode (your key, your subscription or included usage) and the maximum a step may spend. Your key is never used for anyone else, and platform credit is never used for a run that asked for your key.
Keeping keys safe
- Create a key dedicated to LumiWright so you can revoke it on its own.
- Set a spending limit in your provider account.
- Never paste a key into chat, feedback or a support e-mail.
